However this campsite is primarily suited for a brief stopover especially when traveling back from Italy. The reception area has a peculiar dim atmosphere filled with stuffed animals and skeletons which may not appeal to everyone. The pitches themselves are problematic as they become very muddy and suffer from poor drainage. The toilet and shower facilities while dated are functional and clean but they require a lengthy downhill walk from the pitches.
