This campsite in Zaostrog, between Split and Dubrovnik, enjoys a stunning seaside location with crystal-clear water and mountain views. It is set within an olive grove, offering many naturally shaded pitches, though their shapes and sizes vary. Electric hookups are shared between two or three pitches, so a long cable is advisable while choosing a spot after viewing it. The central sanitation block is modern, spacious, and consistently praised for spotless cleanliness. Guests highlight the friendly, multilingual staff who contribute to a relaxed family atmosphere. The beach is directly accessible across a small road, with a seaside promenade perfect for evening strolls and beautiful sunsets. Day trips to Dubrovnik and Mostar are easily doable from here. However, noise from early morning garbage collection and a nearby school camp's disco can disturb sleep, particularly in high season. Pitches can be tightly packed with little separation, reducing privacy. Showers and dishwashing water are often lukewarm or cold, and beach showers require extra payment. Cleanliness has declined in some areas, with reports of superficial cleaning and loose fixtures. After heavy rain, front-row pitches can become waterlogged, causing some guests to leave early. The policy regarding ACSI discount cards means holders are only offered pitches at the rear, which has disappointed some visitors. Dining options on site are limited, but beach bars, pizzerias, and small supermarkets are within a short walk. Free use of a washing machine and dryer is a nice perk. The campsite is dog-friendly, though some owners have been inconsiderate, and it is child-friendly, especially in the low season. For couples with dogs, it offers a quiet atmosphere in pre- and post-season. Many guests return year after year, indicating high overall satisfaction despite the drawbacks. Overall, it is a well-located campsite with excellent access to sea and amenities, but the experience can vary depending on the season and pitch assignment.
