A loyal, yearly-returning clientele speaks to the enduring appeal of the setting, which is perfect for cycling, forest exploration, and splendid beach days. The staff across all recent years are a standout feature, repeatedly described as exceptionally friendly, helpful, and multilingual, contributing to a very welcoming atmosphere. An on-site restaurant serves good-value food, a small market stocks daily essentials, and a bar near the beach offers simple refreshments. The swimming pool is a popular, well-supervised feature, though guests are required to wear swim caps, a rule some find outdated. However, the campsite's facilities show their age and receive mixed reviews. The sanitary blocks, in particular, are a major point of criticism, frequently reported as outdated, with broken fixtures, mold, bad smells, and a lack of provided toilet paper and soap. The shower system, which delivers warm water in short, timed bursts requiring a button to be pressed, is a common frustration. While some years report good WiFi, others describe it as poor or non-functional. In peak season, the evening entertainment can create significant noise that extends late into the evening, which conflicts with the otherwise peaceful forest atmosphere.
