This Mediterranean campsite has evolved over the years, catching the attention of travelers with its prime location just steps from the pebble beach and a short stroll to shops and restaurants. A young, dedicated team has poured care into its development, earning high marks for friendliness and cleanliness, with staff like Charlotte bringing extra cheer. The pitches, though on the smaller side, are nicely separated by trees and hedges for a touch of privacy, and many guests appreciate the morning delivery of fresh pastries. However, the site can feel crowded, especially in peak times, leading to noise from neighbors. Sanitary facilities, while dated, are kept immaculately clean with hourly checks, a point of pride for the team. Unfortunately, in recent years, issues have surfaced: occasional sewage odors, cramped ACSI pitches, and a steep price tag that leaves some feeling overcharged. Despite these drawbacks, the on-site restaurant serves excellent pizza, and the nearby coast offers a pleasant promenade and dog-friendly beach area, though the main beach is pebbly. Guests can cycle directly along the coast to San Remo or Menton, and the river-turned-nature reserve is a hit for birdwatchers, though dogs are no longer allowed to swim there. Overall, this campsite balances a fantastic seaside position and warm service with some basic facilities and space constraints, making it a mixed bag for value-conscious travelers.
