Nestled on beautiful terraced grounds with stunning mountain views, this naturist campsite offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes guests feel at home and eager to return year after year. Run by a dedicated Dutch family now in its third generation, the staff is consistently praised for being exceptionally friendly, hardworking, and helpful, often going out of their way to accommodate guests, such as preparing a late meal for unexpected arrivals or moving caravans to pitches. New guests are greeted with a complimentary drink, helping them feel part of the community in an exceptionally convivial and familial setting that appeals particularly to guests aged 60 and older. The on-site restaurant is a standout feature, serving delicious meals with varied menus, including Indonesian dishes, tapas, and themed three-course dinners at communal tables; the owner arranges seating to encourage socializing, and dietary requirements are accommodated. Communal meals are organized several times a week at a long table, fostering a strong sense of community among guests. The sanitary facilities are consistently described as spotless and spacious, with good showers in a heated building that includes soap and paper towels, though some blocks may be a few hundred meters away and potentially challenging for those with mobility issues. The campsite features both a large outdoor swimming pool and an indoor pool surrounded by free sun loungers, perfect for relaxation; aqua jogging sessions are held twice a week, though one visitor noted the pool can be very cold. Pitch sizes are spacious, set on natural, well-maintained terraces that offer both sun and shade, and provide lovely views of the surroundings. Many scenic hiking trails and cycling routes can be accessed directly from the campsite, with some paths starting right on the grounds, and organized guided hikes through the mountains and along the Drôme river are available, sometimes with a fantastic lunch provided. For children, high-season activities include special events like 'Dream Evening' and 14 July celebrations, along with open-mic nights for all ages, making it appealing for family fun. The site has a payment system using a bar card, and only cash is accepted, while internet is available but very expensive with no WiFi, and the waste disposal bins are located quite far from some pitches. A small shop is available for basic supplies, with additional shopping in nearby towns like Crest or Saillans easily reachable by bike. The campsite is often fully booked during the pre- and post-season, and advance reservations are recommended to secure a spot. Overall, the combination of beautiful surroundings, exceptional service, excellent amenities, and great value for money makes this a highly recommended destination for a peaceful, social, and nature-oriented holiday.
