Nestled on a beautiful plot of land with impressive trees, this campsite offers a tranquil retreat in nature. The grounds feature many spacious pitches, often set under pine trees, which are especially pleasant during the early season. The surrounding area provides excellent opportunities for walking and exploring charming villages. The nearby city of Soria is a stunning destination, and the route to it passes through a large park ideal for cycling or walking, where horses roam freely. The campsite's position right next to a reservoir is a major plus in summer, providing excellent lake access for water enthusiasts. However, the experience can be mixed depending on when you visit. Numerous permanent old caravans surrounded by additional structures give the site a somewhat rundown appearance in parts. During off-peak times, such as weekdays in early September, the atmosphere is very quiet, but the pool, restaurant, and shop may be closed, leaving the campsite deserted. The sanitary buildings, while once lovely, have become quite dated, though some blocks are cleaned multiple times a day and kept tidy. A major recurring issue is the hot water supply, which takes several minutes to run even slightly warm, leading to considerable water waste, and some visitors have reported severe water pressure problems making showers impossible. On a positive note, the staff are consistently described as very friendly, helpful, and welcoming, even accommodating visitors with dogs. The warm showers have been a highlight for recent guests, and the cleanliness of the facilities, while varying, has seen some improvements. The campsite is best for those who value a peaceful, nature-rich setting and don't rely heavily on modern amenities or consistent water services, making it a good choice for a tranquil base to explore the natural and cultural attractions of the region. Despite claiming four stars, the overall condition and services do not always meet expectations, especially during rain when the site becomes muddy.
