Many guests arrive by chance and leave thoroughly impressed, often returning with their families year after year. The standout feature is the exceptional sanitary block, offering private bathrooms with a toilet, sink, shower, bench, and a power point for hairdryers – a remarkable find even for seasoned campers. The main swimming pool with a paddling area and bubble bath is a major hit during warmer months, though it closes for the season by October. For rainy days, there is an indoor play area, and the grounds also include a playground, sandbox, ping-pong tables, a football pitch, a bouncy castle, and mini-golf. The on-site restaurant earns praise for tasty meals, good service, and fair prices, though it is not open every evening. Reception staff are consistently described as exceptionally friendly, helpful, and caring, even freezing ice blocks for guests. The entire site is well-maintained and clean, with modern shower and toilet facilities that stay warm even in cooler weather. While the direct surroundings are quiet with only a Netto supermarket nearby, a bakery is just two kilometers away. The flat, grassy camping fields offer a sense of space and tranquility, especially when the site is not full. The location is ideal for day trips to Konstanz and Meersburg, making it a highly recommended choice for families and dog owners alike. A supermarket and ATM are conveniently located about 150 meters away, making grocery shopping easy. There are excellent cycling and walking routes in the surrounding area, ideal for active exploration. The swimming pool, however, can become crowded on weekends as it is also open to non-guests, and there is very little shade, which can be challenging in hot weather. Some visitors noted that the pool was closed during their stay, so seasonal availability may vary. There is a notable issue with ACSI card acceptance during the low season, which was not communicated in advance, so travelers relying on ACSI discounts should verify the policy before arrival to avoid surprises.
