This Benicasim campsite is a practical base for exploring the coast, located just one kilometer from the boulevard and within walking distance of the beach. Cyclists will love the excellent network of well-maintained bike paths, including a scenic route along an old railway track. The beach is a ten-minute walk away, while large supermarkets like Lidl and Mercadona are nearby. Sanitary facilities are consistently praised as very clean, recently renovated, and well-maintained. Free Wi-Fi is strong and reliable, even reaching inside campers. The on-site restaurant attracts locals on weekends and serves quality meals, though lunch is the primary offering. Pitches are generous and spacious, each equipped with a dedicated water supply, sink, and electric hookups. Low-season rates offer good value, with discounts for longer stays, making it a popular choice for returning winter guests. However, the atmosphere can be lively, with barking dogs and fast-cycling children disrupting peace. The site is mostly paved with concrete, limiting green areas for dogs, though a nearby strip offers some freedom. Many pitches are occupied by long-term caravans, some with black shade cloths, reducing available space and privacy. Sticky tree berries create a mess on vehicles and caravans. The pool is tidy but tiny, and guests note that charcoal barbecues are not allowed. Navigating to the beach involves complex one-way city traffic. The campsite serves as a good base for visiting the Desierto de las Palmas nature area, but alternative accommodations may be preferable for those seeking seclusion.
