Cleanliness on the campsite itself is generally acceptable, though the beach has been a disappointment in recent years as it is no longer cleaned and can be covered in smelly algae. Some of the larger pitches with water hookups are uneven and have significant slopes, making vehicle leveling a challenge. While the location and staff are lovely, the neglected beach and uneven terrain are notable drawbacks. Campers who appreciate both wilderness and comfort will find this balance appealing.
