This campsite along the Prüm River in the Eifel region offers a serene setting with many pitches boasting picturesque waterfront views. The grounds feature a mix of grassy riverside spots and gravel pitches, with the latter proving especially practical during wetter weather. A central field contains double rows of neighboring spots, while glamping tents are available with private toilets, refrigerators, gas stoves, pellet heaters, comfortable beds, and dining sets, plus verandas and picnic tables with fire pits. The sanitary facilities are modern and exceptionally clean, including spacious showers with adjustable temperature and strong water pressure. The on-site Italian restaurant, Da Toni, is a highlight known for its excellent cuisine and has undergone a recent renovation; reservations are often recommended. The village is a short walk away and offers a large department store and a lovely bakery. The area is ideal for hiking and cycling, and the overall atmosphere remains very peaceful and quiet. Many guests return year after year, drawn by the friendly service, cleanliness, and good value. However, recent ownership changes have led to a much less welcoming atmosphere, with reports of unfriendly reception, demands for proof of reservations even when the site is not full, and a minimum three-night booking requirement during peak periods. The restaurant experience has also suffered, with service described as hostile. The scenic riverside location continues to be a positive feature, but it is now overshadowed by poor hospitality and operational inflexibility.
