Nestled in the breathtaking Stubaital valley of Neustift, this campsite is a paradise for nature lovers, offering stunning alpine views and a superb base for hiking in summer or skiing, sledding, and winter sports in winter. The sanitary facilities have been completely renovated with a brand-new building that guests describe as a palace, spacious, modern, and exceptionally clean, making it among the best they have experienced. A large supermarket is located right next door, providing incredibly convenient access to supplies for all your needs. The site is well-maintained and tidy, contributing to an overall pleasant stay. While the location is ideal, with the Elferbahn cable car just a short walk away, some practical aspects can detract from the experience. Pitch allocation is a notable drawback, as spaces are not clearly marked or numbered, leading to a chaotic feel and tight packing during busy holiday periods. There are few water taps on the grounds, and wastewater must be carried to the toilet building, which some find inconvenient despite the "Comfortcamping" designation. The owner can initially seem gruff, though they are often described as friendly and helpful after the first impression; however, recent reports indicate the owner may be unfriendly, causing some guests to cut their stay short. The sanitary block, while clean, suffers from poor ventilation, leaving the building damp and clammy after showers. The village is just a couple of hundred yards away, with good dining options, though bus travel in the area is not free. One visitor reported a disappointing experience when the campsite was unexpectedly closed during an advertised open period in spring 2022. Open year-round, it is recommended for return visits in autumn, winter, and for its fantastic mountain setting.
