This campsite has earned a loyal following, with many guests returning year after year and already planning their next stay. The operators are consistently described as friendly and welcoming. One long-time visitor, however, noted a disappointing change since 2015, particularly in the sanitary facilities, which are now housed in old containers instead of the previous building. The main and annex buildings have been converted into a fitness studio, which this guest saw as a loss. While the newer arrangement still keeps the facilities clean, the earlier dedicated team provided more attentive care. Overall, the site offers a clean and adequate experience, with the warm hospitality of the current operators being a highlight for most. In 2023, the campsite left much to be desired, with guests reporting a generally neglected atmosphere. The sanitary facilities were extremely limited, consisting of just two toilets and two showers housed in old construction containers. The washing area was inconveniently located at the opposite end of the site. The grass was poorly maintained, adding to the unkempt impression. Staff came across as unfriendly and completely disinterested in providing service. Many visitors felt the prices were far too high for what was offered, labeling the place overpriced. The notion of hospitality seemed entirely foreign here, making it hard to recommend for a comfortable stay. In 2024, the campsite offered a wonderful base for a relaxing stay, surrounded by nature while still being close to town. The nearby city of Beeskow provided everything needed for a comfortable visit. Guests could enjoy excellent cycling paths that ran along the Spree River and through the surrounding lake district. The location was also ideal for paddle sports, making it a great starting point for water adventures. The combination of natural beauty and urban convenience made it appealing for active travelers. Overall, it is a well-situated campsite for those who love outdoor activities.
