This family-run lakeside campsite enjoys an outstanding location directly across from Lake Caldonazzo, one of Italy’s warmest lakes for swimming. Guests consistently applaud the warm welcome from owners and staff, who are notably friendly and even speak Dutch. The sanitary facilities repeatedly earn top marks for being modern, spotless, and well-maintained throughout the season. Pitches are generously sized by Italian standards, offering ample space for caravans, motorhomes, and tents. The campsite provides its own private beach area with sun loungers, showers, and toilets for a relaxing lakeside experience. Two separate grassy meadows are available for sunbathing, though shade on pitches can be limited during peak sun hours. A small on-site kiosk sells fresh bread in the mornings and basic supplies, while the surrounding lakefront boasts excellent restaurants, bars, and a bakery. A COOP supermarket is about a mile away for fuller grocery runs. An 80-kilometer cycling path passes nearby, connecting to Venice with a scenic ride and a bike train for the return journey. The area is also a hub for hiking, kayaking, and canyoning, and a train station provides easy access to Trento. WiFi is reliable and fast across the property, ensuring guests stay connected. The campground is compact and easy to navigate, creating a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits. Noise levels are moderate during the day, with early departures before 10 a.m. common, but the site quiets down by midnight. One minor drawback is the mid-September closing date, which can cut short beautiful autumn stays. Overall, this campsite offers a fantastic base for lake activities, cycling adventures, and exploring charming villages like Limone sul Garda.
