Spacious, level pitches are often separated by hedges, providing excellent privacy and some even come with their own water and electricity. The immaculate, modern toilet and shower blocks feature powerful hot water, thoughtful extras like Dyson hand dryers and a hairdryer, and are consistently praised for their spotless condition. On-site amenities include a bar and restaurant called the Cow Shed, which serves tasty, well-priced food including a popular Friday barbecue from a local butcher, alongside local cider and wine. A games room with a pool table, table tennis, and a selection of books, plus a small playground and a free-use kitchen with a microwave and fridge, provide entertainment and convenience. A laundry room on an honesty system and a TV lounge add to the comforts of the stay. Reliable, free WiFi works even from the pitches, and fresh bread and pastries are available from reception daily for breakfast. Minor drawbacks include limited dinner menu options on some nights, occasional muddy pathways during wet weather, and a wish for better low-level lighting at night. The washing-up area has only two sinks, causing queues at busy times, and the nearby village offers only basic essentials without dining options.
