This campsite is set amidst stunning Piedmont vineyards and hazelnut groves, offering sweeping views that feel like stepping into a painting. The terraced layout provides plenty of shade, and the sanitary facilities are consistently praised for being clean and well-equipped, even if slightly compact. The staff are friendly and contribute to a welcoming family atmosphere. For dining, the nearby village of La Morra has an excellent pizzeria, and across the road is a highly recommended restaurant. A tiny grocery two minutes away sells bread and essentials, conveniently stocking local wines chilled. Wine tastings are available at neighboring wineries, and the historic town of Barolo is an easy electric-bike ride away. However, without a vehicle, the location can feel somewhat remote, as reaching shops or other amenities is challenging. The biggest drawback is the internet connection, described as outright worthless. The swimming pool, shared with an adjacent bed and breakfast, charges extra per person per day, a policy many families find unreasonable. Pitches are often small and lack private parking, contributing to a cramped layout. Cleanliness has been neglected in some years, with no visible cleaning during stays and facilities half out of order. The value for money is severely lacking overall, especially given high prices and additional fees. The site is very popular, so tranquility can be impacted during peak times, though off-season visits offer more peace. Despite maintenance and pricing drawbacks, the vineyard panorama and local wine-and-dine culture create a memorable stay for those who don't mind extra costs.
