Guests consistently praise the modern, spotless sanitary facilities, which are among the best they've ever seen, with excellent free showers and clean toilets. The spacious, level pitches are ideal for both tents and motorhomes, often with electric hookups and water access nearby. The on-site Italian restaurant serves great food at reasonable prices, and fresh bread and croissants are available each morning. A well-maintained outdoor swimming pool with beautiful views offers welcome recreation, though many guests wish the water were heated. Families enjoy the children's play area, climbing wall, and trampoline, while the free guest freezer and laundry room with free machines add convenience. The self-check-in system lets you choose your own pitch, but the lack of a manned reception can lead to confusion, especially for late arrivals who must check in at a nearby campsite. Despite the peaceful atmosphere, the proximity to a main road and railway line brings noticeable traffic noise. Wi-Fi is weak or unreliable, often only usable near the restaurant, and many guests are disappointed by the signal. Pitches lack shade and privacy from hedges or divisions, and some guests find the site less idyllic than photos suggest, with an industrial edge and permanent residents in older vehicles. The swimming pool water is often cold, and some facilities like the dishwashing area may be temporarily closed for renovation. A Swiss electrical adapter is required for hookups, and a recycling bag is needed for rubbish disposal.
