This small, charming campsite sits near the Falshöft lighthouse and water, offering a romantic setting with excellent cycling routes and beautiful natural scenery. Located adjacent to the Geltinger Birk nature reserve, it provides wonderful opportunities for exploration, especially for guests with dogs. The management is competent and the staff provide excellent service, with the owner frequently baking fantastic cakes and pastries that delight visitors. The atmosphere among seasonal campers is friendly, creating a welcoming community feel. The site is highly dog-friendly, making it a great choice for pet owners who enjoy taking strolls in the surrounding environment. Cleanliness is a standout feature, with sanitary facilities described as old but maintained spotlessly throughout stays. However, the pitches are on the small side, particularly for larger motorhomes, and one pitch is located at the entrance along the main path, subject to constant foot and vehicle traffic. There is no restaurant on site or within walking distance, though dining options are available at a neighboring campsite to the south, accessible via a pleasant walk. The site lacks WiFi. The roads are not paved or properly surfaced, which can be an inconvenience. Many guests feel the site is overpriced for what it offers, making value for money a significant concern. Despite these drawbacks, the cleanliness, hospitality, and scenic surroundings make it a delightful retreat for those seeking a quiet, nature-focused getaway.
