This compact, sandy campsite serves as a practical base for mountain bikers and travelers on the move. The friendly reception team ensures a warm welcome, and the grounds are kept tidy and well-organized. Laundry facilities are available for those on longer stays, adding a layer of convenience. The site is secured with electronic locks, though the reason for such security remains unclear. Pitches are notably small, making the campsite unsuitable for vehicles longer than 7.5 meters, which may end up partially on the access road. Unfortunately, the water system has a design flaw—the tap cannot be turned off, leading to wasteful water usage. Reception does not open until well after 9:20 AM, causing long checkout queues. No cold drinking water is available anywhere on the property. During daylight hours the site is wonderfully peaceful, but in the evening the adjacent restaurant produces unbearably loud noise from screaming children and general commotion that lasts late into the night. While the area offers excellent cycling and hiking, the evening disturbances are severe enough that many visitors decide never to return. The overall atmosphere is pleasant for passing through, but cramped conditions and noise issues hinder a relaxed stay. Those with large RVs or seeking quiet evenings should look elsewhere. The campsite is best suited for short stops or active trips where ample space and tranquility are not top priorities.
