However, the campsite suffers from serious drawbacks that potential visitors should weigh carefully. The sanitary facilities are partly outdated and poorly maintained, with the newer block sometimes malfunctioning and hot water being a daily struggle. Cleanliness across the site is a recurring complaint, with the waste disposal area often overflowing, poorly separated, and attracting rats. The pitches are uneven and sloped, requiring extensive effort—sometimes up to 15 cm of wood on one side—to level a caravan or tent. Electrical power outages occur multiple times per day, adding frustration to the stay. Staff have been observed driving golf carts too fast around the grounds, and the on-site bakery creates long queues from early morning. Check-in may be cash-only during some visits due to broken card readers, and a narrow, overgrown access road risks scratching vehicles. Although the pool is fun, safety concerns include sharp gratings and trip hazards. For older children or teenagers, the campsite may prove boring after a while. The surrounding region is scenic and within an hour's drive of many sights, but the campsite itself struggles with fundamental maintenance. Overall, while the family atmosphere and pool are appealing, the unsteady pitches, sanitation woes, and litter problems suggest this is not a place many would revisit for a trouble‑free stay.
