This campsite enjoys a beautiful park-like setting right on the shores of Lake Maggiore, just a short walk from Cannobio. The charming town offers a lively promenade and convenient supermarkets nearby. The grounds are largely shaded by trees, and many pitches are grassy, staying firm even after heavy rain. Some narrow access roads and tight spots can make it challenging for larger caravans or motorhomes. The site has retained its charming, authentic atmosphere over the years, which many guests appreciate. Two restaurants are available on-site, offering convenient dining options with tasty meals at fair prices. There is also a well-stocked shop for daily essentials, including fresh bread. Multiple washroom facilities are scattered around the site and are kept exceptionally clean. However, the shower cabins are dated, cramped, and lack adequate shelving; some require holding the button down continuously. A special feature is the availability of a limited number of private sanitaires, which can be booked for extra comfort. The staff are friendly and accommodating, even in challenging weather, and they let guests choose from two available pitches without extra charge. Children will love the playground equipment near the entrance. Noise can be an issue at night, particularly from the beach areas, though the northern side of the beach is noted as more peaceful. Despite the worn facilities, the stunning location and authentic vibe make this a place many guests are eager to return to.
