Spacious, flat, and grassy pitches are a standout feature, providing ample room for campers to settle comfortably. The washroom facilities, including hot showers and clean toilets, consistently earn high marks for their upkeep and modern feel. Guests often highlight the friendly and professional staff who are eager to share local tips and information. The on-site restaurant is generally well-regarded, though its hours can be unpredictable, sometimes closing on Sunday evenings or after busy periods, and it may not be available at all in early spring. A quiet period from 11 PM to 7:30 AM ensures restful nights, but the overall atmosphere can shift dramatically during a July country festival that brings lively nighttime festivities. The location is ideal for hiking in the nearby Natural Park Hoces del Rio Duraton, famous for its Griffon Vultures, and cycling into the town of Riaza is convenient. Access for larger vehicles can be tricky, with narrow roads, curbs, and tight turns onto pitches, and some plots are entirely grass despite advertising hardstanding. Shade is very scarce across the grounds, which can be a challenge under the summer sun, and water taps are not available at individual pitches, requiring campers to bring a hose or fetch water from sinks. The shop and restaurant are often closed or poorly stocked, so it's wise to bring supplies and check ahead. The swimming pool is actually a municipal pool located off-site and only open in July and August, which can be misleading.
