This intimate lakeside campsite enjoys a prime location right next to swimming lakes and a golf course, making it an excellent base for outdoor activities and cycling along the Danube to Linz. The owners are notably friendly and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, and guests appreciate the on-site 'Mostheurigen' for local produce and refreshments. Nearby restaurants and villages provide additional dining options. However, the pitches are on the small side, and when the site is full, the tight spacing can feel cramped and uncomfortable. The sanitary facilities are acceptable and provide hot water, but the shower cubicles are notably small and confining. The reception has very limited opening hours, and pitch numbers are hidden under grass, making orientation difficult. Tourist pitches are located far from the sanitary block, requiring a walk through grass to reach the facilities. Laundry is available but only accepts 50-cent coins. Wi-Fi does not reach the tourist pitches, which is a significant drawback for those needing connectivity. Cleanliness has raised concerns, and the toilet and shower count is limited to only four, which feels insufficient for the price. Overall, while the campsite offers a pleasant atmosphere and excellent location, many guests feel the cost is too high for the small pitches and overall level of service. Privacy is limited due to the cramped layout, and the site can feel uncomfortable when fully occupied. Despite these drawbacks, the serene setting and friendly staff remain strong points.
