Situated directly on the shores of Lake Garda, this campsite offers a prime location with immediate beach access and stunning lake views from many pitches. The on-site beach bar is a lively hub, serving great coffee and drinks, but its loud thumping music from morning until late at night can be a major drawback for those seeking peace. Guests consistently praise the exceptionally friendly, helpful, and English-speaking staff who create a welcoming atmosphere. The swimming pool is a highlight, noted as clean and excellent for swimming, though a mandatory swim cap is required and can only be purchased at reception. Sanitary facilities receive mixed reviews: some blocks are modern and clean, but many toilets are outdated squat-style holes, and several showers and cubicles lack proper locks or have flooding issues. Pitches vary significantly; lake-view spots are dreamy, but many tent pitches are small, sloping, and have hard, stony ground that cannot accommodate a parked vehicle. Motorhome pitches near the bar are particularly noisy, while some touring pitches are spacious and shaded by trees. Wi-Fi is available only for a fee, and mobile reception can be poor. The site is secure with transponder-controlled access, though the narrow approach road may challenge large motorhomes. A small market, pizzeria, and ferry stop are within walking distance, making day trips convenient. However, there is no dedicated chemical disposal point for motorhomes, and waste disposal requires carrying rubbish to an external sorting area. The playground is reported as old and damaged, and mosquitoes are noted. Some guests experienced issues with pitch allocation not matching their reservation. Overall, the campsite offers a simple, vibrant base on the lake, but noise and outdated facilities are common trade-offs.
