This campsite enjoys a prime beachfront location just 30 meters from the shore, offering stunning coastal views and direct access to a beautiful sandy beach framed by dramatic cliffs and rock formations. It serves as an excellent base for hiking, cycling, and exploring the charming seaside town of Camaret-sur-Mer, which is just a short drive away with excellent restaurants. Guests consistently praise the warm and friendly welcome from the owners, particularly Isabelle, who adds a personal touch and is known for cooking some of the best homemade mussels in Brittany at the on-site restaurant. The atmosphere is relaxed and international, creating a welcoming vibe that appeals to a diverse range of visitors. Pitches are generously sized and many are thoughtfully separated by hedges for privacy, with some shaded by trees for added comfort. A small shop covers basic essentials, although a large supermarket is a short drive away for more extensive supplies. The swimming pool is well-maintained and adds to the appeal, while the area offers scenic walking and cycling routes, including the GR footpath leading to Camaret in about an hour. However, several visitors express disappointment with the aging sanitary facilities, noting issues such as loose toilet seats, missing or crooked shower shelves, and inconsistent maintenance. Cleanliness is a recurring concern, with reports of poorly maintained showers and toilets, overflowing trash bins, and a strong septic smell near the entrance. The site can become noisy due to many children playing, and in the low season it offers a wonderfully quiet atmosphere perfect for relaxation. While the natural setting and friendly management are highly valued, overall upkeep and cleanliness of facilities need attention to fully match the stunning surroundings.
