This campsite sits right on the water in Punat, offering direct bay access and a quick walk to town for restaurants and shops. Its location is a genuine highlight, with a pleasant bike path to Krk and a nice beachside bakery nearby. However, the facility is extremely outdated and poorly maintained, with neglected infrastructure that detracts from the stay. The sanitary blocks are a persistent problem: they are dirty, smelly, and often broken, with cobwebs and grime visible even after cleaning. Showers frequently run cold or lukewarm, and toilets become unusable late at night. Men's facilities are especially cramped and poorly designed, while women's are slightly better but still basic. The beach is paved and gets very crowded, though swimming access is good. Pitches vary in size; some are spacious and shaded by trees, but others feel tight when adding a caravan and awning. The planned renovation into a luxury resort raises concerns about losing the site's natural charm. Noise is a serious issue, with loud music from the village and late-night parties disrupting sleep. The restaurant looks inviting but fails to deliver, with poor service and missing menu items. The shop and other advertised amenities are often not operational. Staff at reception are friendly, but complaints about maintenance are routinely ignored. The site is not recommended for dog owners, as there is no dedicated area and waste is left around. Despite the superb seaside location, the combination of unclean facilities, noise, and neglect makes it hard to recommend for anything more than a quick stop.
