This campsite is best suited for a single overnight stay rather than a longer holiday, as there is very little to do in the surrounding area and it seems primarily intended for Italian guests. The toilet facilities are dirty and in urgent need of replacement, which detracts significantly from the overall experience. On the plus side, the staff are friendly and welcoming, though they mainly speak Italian, so English-speaking visitors may face communication challenges. In 2022, guests were pleasantly surprised during a two-week stay, receiving an immediate and informative welcome with all necessary details about available services. Guests were escorted to their accommodation and given a reserved parking spot directly adjacent to it, an absolute convenience. The mobile home itself was well-maintained and clean, with a spacious veranda featuring a table, chairs, and a drying rack. Despite its compact size, the interior was thoughtfully arranged with shelving in the bedroom and a small wardrobe, while the bathroom, though small, had a cabinet for storing belongings. The air conditioning kept the living space comfortably cool throughout the stay without any issues. The staff were consistently kind and responsive, promptly and expertly resolving a couple of minor technical problems, and the interpersonal atmosphere felt familiar and welcoming. The on-site bar, restaurant, and pizzeria earned high praise, with daily breakfasts featuring fresh pastries from a pastry shop and excellent cappuccinos, while dinners surpassed expectations with fresh seafood and fish offerings. The campsite is just across the road from the beach, making it a convenient base for seaside holidays, with spacious and well-regarded pitches. Sanitary facilities are noticeably outdated, with some reports of only cold or lukewarm water, but they remain functional and clean. The on-site restaurant serves good Italian food, and staff are friendly and attentive, with the village being a popular destination for Italian tourists and many seasonal guests visiting mostly on weekends. For sunbathing, a paid beach with sunbeds is directly opposite, while a free beach about 250 meters away tends to be crowded. In 2024, the campsite was clean and well-maintained, with very friendly and helpful staff who go out of their way to accommodate guests, such as arranging a late stay when the pitch was already booked. The sanitary facilities are clean and in good condition, though a bit dated by Italian standards, and hot showers are included in the price; however, warm water for dishwashing is only sporadically available. The site offers a good restaurant with tasty pizza, a small minimarket with essential supplies, and pitches that are generously sized and shaded. About three-quarters of the pitches are occupied by mobile homes or long-term campers, with the remaining quarter reserved for classic camping. The beach is just across the street and can be reached in about five minutes, but it is a public, dog-friendly beach that some find less hygienic for children due to pet waste. Prices are very reasonable given the location and amenities, making this a highly recommended choice for budget-conscious travelers who value cleanliness, convenience, and a welcoming atmosphere.
