This small, cozy campsite is nestled in a lush tropical garden that evokes a paradise-like atmosphere, with magnificent flowers and towering trees providing ample shade. Its heated pool is a rare and cherished amenity, making it a hit with families. There is a highly praised restaurant on site, El Rustico, which adds to the holiday experience. The location is convenient for exploring the Costa del Sol, with easy access to Marbella, Estepona, Ronda, Gibraltar, and the white villages. However, the site sits directly next to the A7 motorway, and traffic noise is a recurring complaint, often starting early in the morning. Light sleepers will need earplugs. The pitches are notably small and tight, often leaving little room for seating after parking a car and caravan. Sanitary facilities are generally clean but can be outdated and limited in number, with only a few toilets and showers available. A common frustration is the difficult and sometimes unsafe pedestrian access to the beach, involving a narrow underpass, a drainage pipe, or a walk along a busy road. Cycling along the coast to Estepona is highly recommended as a fantastic alternative. The staff are usually friendly and helpful, though occasional reports mention uncooperative reception or billing disputes. Despite its imperfections, the campsite is considered a perfectly okay base for a short stay, especially if you prioritize the lush setting and heated pool over tranquility and space.
