However, the campsite presents a mixed experience in terms of facilities and value. The sanitary blocks, while kept very clean, are noted as somewhat outdated. Showers operate with a pull-string system that provides only a minute or less of cold water, which is a major frustration. The water supply at pitches is very slow, and there are extra charges for water used to empty waste. Wi-Fi is only available for a paid fee, which disappoints those needing connectivity. The site can become very busy, leading to overflow parking where guests still pay full standard rates. Staff during peak periods have been observed as stressed and occasionally unfriendly.
