Camping Paradiso del Mare
Tucked away just 100 meters from a stunning beach and shaded by tall trees, this small, quiet campsite offers a peaceful retreat for those wanting easy coastal access. The on-site restaurant is a highlight, serving excellent pizza that draws praise from guests, and the friendly owner adds a welcoming touch. However, the campsite has significant drawbacks that undermine its appeal. The sanitary facilities are outdated and poorly maintained: shower water tastes salty, the dishwashing area smells due to uncleaned trash bins, and overall cleanliness is a concern. Pricing is a major issue, with inconsistent charges that leave guests feeling overcharged; it ranks among the most expensive sites in Sicily. The access road is narrow and long, posing challenges for larger vehicles like caravans. There is no drinking water available on site, a critical omission. While the natural setting and restaurant are positives, the high cost in relation to the subpar amenities and lack of essential services makes it hard to recommend. The quiet atmosphere and shade-providing trees are appreciated, but the overall value is poor. Most guests express they would not return, citing better options elsewhere. The beach access is excellent, but other facilities lag behind, creating a mixed experience that falls short of expectations.
