This campsite enjoys a stunning location on a bay, set beneath pines, olive, and fig trees, offering beautiful views where mountains meet the sea. Its proximity to the beach and the entrance to Paklenica National Park makes it an ideal base for both seaside relaxation and hiking excursions. The pitches are spacious and mostly shaded, providing comfort during warm days, though a few spots are exposed to full sun. Guests consistently praise the exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, who contribute to a welcoming atmosphere. The grounds are well-maintained and tidy, with sanitary facilities cleaned multiple times daily. However, the constant flow of short-stay visitors can create a lively, sometimes restless atmosphere, and noise from the adjacent coastal road is a recurring issue. The sanitary facilities, while clean, are limited in number and in need of renovation, with only one block open at times, leading to frustrating queues for showers and toilets. The swimming pool is a highlight, especially clean and perfect for a morning swim, though it can attract non-guests from outside. The on-site restaurant serves good food and to-order hamburgers with fries from the beach bar, and a supermarket is conveniently located just outside the gate. The beach is pebbly and requires water shoes, but the water is shallow and warm, making it safe for children. Nighttime is generally peaceful, though August 15th brings loud music and midnight fireworks. The surrounding area has plenty to see, including the lively village with beautiful parks, and Zadar is at least 45 minutes away. For those focused on natural beauty and excursions, this campsite serves as a good starting point, but inconsistent maintenance and service may disappoint those expecting high standards. Overall, it is a highly recommended choice for those seeking a combination of seaside relaxation and local exploration.
