The swimming pool is a standout feature, praised for its size and suitability for laps, complete with a waterslide in newer reports. Morning aqua aerobics sessions are popular, and a sauna is available for relaxation. Guests consistently describe the overall atmosphere as wonderful, fantastic, and magical, highlighting a great ethos. Staff receive high marks for being friendly, helpful, and accommodating, even arranging train station pickups and drop-offs. The site is well-managed and clean, with accommodation options ranging from clean chalets to pitches with water and electric hookups and excellent views. A camp shop allows daily ordering of fresh bread and pastries. The surrounding area is ideal for hiking, with trails leading down to the River Var for invigorating swims. However, the restaurant receives frequent criticism for overpriced, poor-quality food, often described as horrible, with some guests choosing to dine in nearby towns. Access to the campsite can be challenging for larger caravans due to narrow and steep roads, and internal paths have loose gravel causing parking difficulties. Occasional loud music events finishing after 1am can disturb the peace, and WiFi coverage is limited. The pool area features narrow, irregular steps and a constantly deep 1.7-metre depth, which some find hazardous. Toilet facilities are considered basic, and more waste bins around the site would be welcome. Steep inclines keep guests fit but may be challenging for some. Overall, this campsite is a beautiful and peaceful retreat ideal for those seeking relaxation, scenic views, and a community-minded naturist experience.
