The entire campsite underwent a comprehensive renovation in 2020, resulting in enlarged pitches that now all come with electricity and running drinking water. Guests consistently praise the exceptionally friendly and helpful multilingual staff, who even clean the washing-up sinks until late in the evening. The sanitary facilities are described as perfect, very clean, and well-maintained, contributing to a high standard of hygiene throughout the site. The on-site restaurant serves excellent food, particularly delicious pizza and ice cream, with a terrace offering lovely lake views, though the campsite shop has limited supplies and bread can sell out by 10 AM. A large, clean swimming pool with a bar and sun loungers is available, but advance reservations are required and weekend slots may be unavailable. Motorcyclists and cyclists find the campsite an excellent base for exploring the surrounding area on two wheels. Pitches are spacious, level, and often shaded by trees, though some are not separated by hedges, reducing privacy, and the ground can be sandy, so a groundsheet is recommended. The nearby road causes some traffic noise, which is difficult to avoid given the topography, and mosquito protection is essential in the evenings. The site is notably dog-friendly, featuring a separate sandy beach for dogs and a zone where dogs are not allowed, ensuring comfort for all guests. In low season the site is busy but not crowded, while high season can feel much fuller.
