This terrace-style campsite is large, with multiple fields and small areas. The best pitches are at the top for views and distance from the main road. The main attraction is the Mullerthal Trail, with route E1 offering a 13.5 km loop. The nearby town is beautiful but shows signs of recent flood damage. The campsite is beautifully situated on a forest edge with direct hiking access in Luxembourg's Little Switzerland. The natural setting is peaceful, ideal for outdoor enthusiasts. However, many reviews are strongly negative regarding maintenance and cleanliness. Sanitary facilities are often extremely dirty and outdated, with insects found in toilets and showers. Staff availability at reception is criticized. While the location is praised, poor conditions often overshadow it. Guests frequently experience cold water in showers during evening hours. The dishwashing area appears from the 1960s, indicating no modern updates. Pitches are described as muddy and uneven, making leveling difficult. Electrical problems are severe, with constant power tripping. Staff may blame guests for usage inconsistently. Temporary container sanitary blocks are kept clean but are excessively heated. A small adjacent toilet block is extremely dirty with a disgusting sink for cassette emptying. Communication is difficult as phones are unanswered. The swimming pool and toddler pool have brown, dirty water. Positive points are the beautiful location for walks and clean container blocks. Overall, the site has great potential but is poorly managed, making a return highly unlikely for many guests.
