A standout feature is the free entry to the municipal swimming pool located just opposite the campsite gates, perfect for a refreshing dip. The pitches are generously sized and shaded by mature trees, providing a sense of space and privacy even when the site is full. Regular visits from a food truck offering local specialties like flammkuchen add a delightful culinary touch. The staff are consistently praised for their friendliness and round-the-clock helpfulness, making check-in and stays smooth. Cleanliness of the sanitary facilities is a strong point, though they are described as a bit dated. The atmosphere is very quiet and pleasant, ideal for a peaceful stopover. However, some guests have noted significant road noise during daytime hours, and the sound of church bells early in the morning can be a minor nuisance.
