Camping Meißner's Sonnen-Camp is a seaside retreat nestled in Ostseebad Prerow, within the scenic state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The campsite is beautifully situated between the Baltic Sea and a tranquil forest, offering guests a unique natural setting. The site provides a mix of shaded and sunny pitches, giving campers the flexibility to choose their preferred exposure. For those who prefer not to bring their own gear, caravans and bungalows or chalets are available for rent. A particular highlight is the proximity to a sandy beach, making it easy for guests to enjoy seaside activities. The campsite also features a playground, ensuring younger visitors have their own space for fun. Each year, the campsite undergoes a thorough ACSI inspection, covering over 200 points to maintain high standards of quality and safety. The inspection is carried out by an independent ACSI employee, Mr. A.G. van de Goor, who visits annually to assess facilities, cleanliness, and service. The site covers an area of two hectares, with an elevation of just two meters above sea level. Touring pitches number 67, ranging from six to fifty square meters, accommodating various camping setups. There are also 25 permanent annual pitches for longer stays, plus three dedicated motorhome pitches. For guests seeking alternative accommodation, 14 rental units are available. The campsite operates from April 1st to October 31st each year, currently closed for the off-season. Two guide prices are offered, with a base rate of 50 euros and a higher rate of 55 euros per night. Unfortunately, the campsite is not suitable for guests with disabilities and does not operate as a naturist facility. Overall, it presents a balanced mix of natural beauty, family amenities, and reliable service standards.
