The exceptionally clean sanitary facilities are well-maintained and inviting, contributing to a refreshing experience. The on-site sauna provides a perfect way to unwind after a day of exploration. During pre-season, many amenities remain closed before the official start on June 5th, so early visitors should plan accordingly. The sanitary facilities are exceptionally well-heated, providing comfort even in cooler weather. The Lungau Card provided during this time was nearly impossible to use, which is a significant drawback. The campsite clearly gears its full opening towards summer, limiting pre-season activities. In off-peak seasons, the pitches are spacious and delightful, and despite proximity to a road, the site remains peaceful and quiet. It serves as a great base for day trips to excellent excursion destinations. Even during busy periods like Ascension Day, the atmosphere is remarkably calm, though some amenities may have limited hours. The snack bar is only open in the morning for bread rolls and a few items, and the cable car is closed. However, the wellness area is accessible, and a local masseuse provides heavenly massages in the afternoons, adding a touch of luxury. The combination of scenic beauty, pristine facilities, and peaceful ambiance makes this a top choice for a relaxing camping holiday.
