This campsite offers a prime location with direct beach access to the sea, making it an excellent base for exploring Tuscany and a short trip to Pisa. The on-site restaurant and pizzeria serve some of the best pizza at fair prices, and the small supermarket stocks all essentials. The swimming pool is clean and pleasant, though guests must bring a swim cap. The beach is popular, clean, and well-maintained, with designated seating areas. Guests describe it as a pleasant, friendly campsite with welcoming English-speaking staff. Many visitors highly recommend it as an overnight stop or a longer excursion in the region. A bus stop directly at the campsite offers convenient transport to Pisa. The overall atmosphere is lively, especially at the restaurant, which can be loud. However, the site can be noisy due to aircraft sounds and announcements from a nearby terminal. Sanitary facilities have mixed reviews; some guests report they are cleaned multiple times daily and are very clean, while others describe them as dirty with a coin-operated shower system that provides less than 3 minutes of warm water. The water takes time to warm up, leaving very little time for a shower. The campsite has a strict policy for dogs, requiring them to be in old strollers outside the pitch, a restriction that should be communicated at booking. The pool has a rule requiring swim caps, which many guests find outdated. Some pitches are cramped for larger vehicles up to 7.5 meters, and after 8 PM access to the sea is closed. The site serves well as a single overnight stop before catching a ferry to Livorno, but the overall experience is not recommended for longer stays.
