A camping trip here in 2022 left many feeling shortchanged. The grounds were in poor shape, with pitches strewn with pine needles and roots and so heavily shaded that the whole site felt dark and unwelcoming. Check-in staff were polite and capable, but the team at the bar and restaurant came across as indifferent, almost eager for their shifts to end. One visitor took one look at the conditions and tried to leave immediately, only to be refused a refund and sent off empty-handed. Another guest stuck it out for a full week but described the service as a disaster and swore never to return. The combination of neglected grounds and uninspired service makes this site a big disappointment for anyone expecting a proper four-star experience.
