Perched on a hillside with breathtaking views of Mazarron Bay and the Mediterranean, this terraced campsite is meticulously maintained and exceptionally clean. The standout attraction is the swimming pool complex, featuring both indoor and outdoor heated saltwater pools that are drained, cleaned, and refilled nightly, remaining warm enough for comfortable swimming even in winter. Spacious pitches are level, well-kept with fine gravel, and offer shade from trees along with a good degree of privacy. Sanitary facilities are consistently described as spotless with always hot showers, though no toilet paper is provided in the blocks. The friendly, attentive owners and staff go out of their way to fulfill requests, contributing to a well-managed atmosphere. The site enforces a dog-free policy, praised for the peace and quiet it brings with virtually no barking or mess. Evenings are particularly serene thanks to dimmed lighting that allows fireflies to thrive. A short walk or bike ride brings guests to the charming village of Isla Plana with a social club, chapel, bakery, supermarket, bars, and beachfront eateries. A cycling path connects to La Azohía and Puerto de Mazarrón, and public buses link the site to Murcia and Cartagena. The on-site shop opens six mornings a week and sells fresh baguettes, while the bar-restaurant offers pizza and beer, though hours are limited and the bar may close on Sundays. Reliable Wi-Fi is available only in the bar, pool, and library areas. Some extra costs, such as a mandatory daily electricity charge and paid Internet, can diminish the overall value perception. The walk to the beach is about three-quarters of a mile along a tricky path, and the nearby town of Isla Plana is a mile away. A bicycle is highly recommended to fully enjoy the surroundings and access the best coastal routes. The campsite enforces a minimum three-night stay and is oriented towards adults and quiet enjoyment, making it ideal for relaxation and extended stays including overwintering.
