The spacious pitches, many around 150 square meters, are a standout feature, providing excellent privacy with some shaded and some open options, and come equipped with electricity and water connections. The owners and staff are consistently praised for their exceptional friendliness, helpfulness, and multilingual abilities, often going out of their way to assist guests, such as delivering fresh bread rolls directly to pitches upon request. A clean, well-maintained swimming pool is a highlight, beautifully lit in the evening and a refreshing escape from the heat. The sanitary facilities are generally clean and well-maintained, though some guests note that showers can feel dated or have occasional issues like drain smells or intermittent warm water during peak times. A small, dated playground exists but has some safety concerns like protruding screws; however, large open grassy areas provide ample space for children and dogs to play freely. The site is very dog-friendly, and the owner’s gentle golden retriever, Emma, adds a warm, homey touch. For basic supplies, a bar, restaurant, and small supermarket with fresh bread are within a short walking distance of about 300 meters, while a larger supermarket is available in the nearby town of Gračac. The surrounding area offers excellent opportunities for hiking, cycling, and exploring river gorges, and the campsite serves as a convenient base for visiting major attractions like Plitvice Lakes, Zadar, and Krka National Park, all within about an hour’s drive. While a road runs alongside the campsite, noise is reportedly not bothersome. Wi-Fi is available but could be better, and mobile signal is not strong enough for full streaming. Laundry facilities are available for a nominal fee, though guests should note the washer’s time-lock system. Overall, the value for money is considered unbeatable, with reasonable prices and a calm, community-oriented atmosphere that makes this a highly recommended destination for nature lovers, families, and pet owners.
