Camping Les Taupinières is a small, peaceful retreat set in the rural landscape of Notre-Dame-du-Touchet in the Manche department of Normandy. This campsite is inspected annually by the ACSI organization to guarantee quality, safety, and cleanliness for every guest. Inspectors evaluate more than 200 facility and service points each year, ensuring consistent standards. The current inspector, Mr. D.L.H. Boone, has visited the site repeatedly to maintain these high benchmarks. The campsite operates from May 1st to September 30th, making it ideal for spring and summer getaways. At just 0.6 hectares, it offers an intimate camping experience with plenty of personal space. There are six touring pitches available, each measuring between 100 and 150 square meters. These spacious pitches provide ample room for tents, caravans, or motorhomes. The guide price for a pitch is €18.22, offering good value for a well-maintained site. One notable feature is that the pitches are without shade, which means plenty of sunlight throughout the day. This open setting is perfect for guests who enjoy basking in the sun or stargazing at night. The campsite is not suitable for guests with disabilities, as accessibility features are limited. It is also not a naturist campsite, maintaining a family-friendly atmosphere. The region around Notre-Dame-du-Touchet is rich in Normandy's natural beauty, with countryside walks and local attractions nearby. Accommodation is suited for those who prefer simple, back-to-basics camping without extensive facilities. The overall atmosphere is quiet and relaxed, encouraging a slower pace of life. With its small number of pitches, the campsite ensures privacy and a sense of seclusion.
