The site features spacious, shaded pitches suitable for caravans, motorhomes, and tents, along with well-equipped mobile homes and safari tents nestled under the trees. Guests consistently praise the warm, attentive, and discreet hospitality from the owner Yann Renoux and his staff, who create a welcoming atmosphere year after year. The large swimming pool is a standout feature, complemented by ample sun loungers, though the pizzeria and bar operate on seasonal schedules. The on-site restaurant serves excellent food, including popular pizzas, and there is a bread delivery service for convenience. Cleanliness is generally commended, with sanitary facilities cleaned thoroughly several times a day, although some guests note worn wooden decking, fluctuating shower water pressure, and occasional outdated fixtures. The calm and relaxed atmosphere makes it ideal for families with young children, who enjoy the playground, trampoline, children's club, and safe social environment. The site is also dog-friendly and features board games for entertainment. Entertainment includes evening events like karaoke and themed dinners, which can sometimes carry noise across the site. Pitches vary in size and privacy; some are spacious and well-screened, while others are tight and close together, with limited intimacy. Electric hook-ups may be far from pitches, requiring very long cables. The mobile homes are generally new, spacious, and clean, but a few older units show wear. The heated pool operates from early season, though some guests found it a downside. Water tap points are limited and sometimes leaky. Access roads have potholes, and parking near some accommodations could be more convenient. Reception closes at midday, which can catch arrivals off guard. Security issues have been reported in one year, including a forced lock on a caravan, but overall the atmosphere feels safe. The region is a major draw for hiking and cycling routes, with visits to the Salagon scent gardens and the 360-degree view from the citadel.
