Nestled in the rolling hills of central France, this family-run campsite offers a tranquil escape surrounded by nature, with mature, tree-sheltered pitches that provide plenty of shade while still allowing some sun. The grounds are beautifully maintained, giving the site a strong forest vibe that many visitors find relaxing, though there is some road noise from the nearby A20 motorway which is audible but not considered intrusive. The owners are consistently praised for their warmth, hospitality, and multilingual skills, making guests feel welcome and safe from the moment they arrive. Facilities are kept spotless, with clean toilets and showers that offer ample hot water. A highlight is the on-site bar and restaurant, which serves good, reasonably priced food and fosters a friendly atmosphere, with outdoor seating available. Additionally, there is a swimming pool that is inviting for both children and adults, perfect for cooling off on hot days. The site also provides essential amenities like electric hook-ups and water points close to pitches, along with reliable WiFi for staying connected. Some guests noted that the pitches can be uneven with exposed tree roots, so arriving early to choose the best spot is advisable, and a few found the steps to the facilities a minor inconvenience. The campsite is conveniently close to a lake, offering excellent cycling and walking opportunities. Several visitors expressed they wished they could have stayed longer, highlighting it as a perfect stopover for journeys south, with many saying they would return if passing through the area again.
