Guests can enjoy fresh bread and croissants each morning by ordering ahead, and three days a week the owners prepare delicious homemade fries at a very reasonable price. The small swimming pool is perfect for cooling off, though it is not designed for serious lap swimming; it has sun loungers and is just as tidy as the rest of the site. The campsite is situated in a very quiet location, making it an ideal choice for those seeking peace and relaxation. It lies about 25 km from the motorway, making it a convenient stopover, and the nearby town offers a selection of restaurants and an authentic market. The surroundings are excellent for cycling, driving, and hiking tours. Many pitches are sheltered and some boast stunning views over the Beaujolais and Chardonnay hills. The atmosphere is very quiet and peaceful, making it particularly suitable for older guests or those seeking tranquility. For exploring, a nearby town and supermarket are easily reachable by bike, and the flat terrain along the Saône River provides excellent cycling routes. A pizza or snack van occasionally visits the site, adding a convenient dining option. The grounds are beautifully shaded by mature trees, and many pitches are separated by hedges for privacy. A WiFi hotspot is available near the reception, and fresh bread can be ordered daily.
