Tucked beside a serene lake, this campsite enchants with its natural beauty but disappoints with its neglected facilities. The setting is idyllic, offering breathtaking water views and instant access to scenic walking trails that wander along the shore. For cycling enthusiasts, well-maintained paths connect directly to the charming town of Le Tréport, making exploration easy. Dog owners will find a welcoming haven, with ample space for walks and a pet-friendly atmosphere. The team on-site are a true highlight, consistently described as incredibly friendly, helpful, and efficient, with English-speaking staff smoothing any communication. Pitches are impressively spacious and mostly level, though some nestle under trees or lack defined edges, affecting privacy. The restaurant and snack bar earn praise for their tasty offerings, and a nearby café is a local favorite. A free swimming pool exists, but many guests find it unpleasantly cold and note its restricted hours, with some even reporting it appeared out of order. The greatest shortcoming lies in the sanitary blocks, which are almost universally criticized as outdated, grubby, and poorly kept, with cobwebs, chilly showers, malfunctioning toilets, and a shortage of hot water for dishwashing. Nighttime can be disrupted by traffic noise from a nearby road and music from the bar. Wi-Fi is absent, and mobile signal is unreliable. While passable for a single overnight stop, the persistent issues with hygiene and scant evening entertainment make it unsuitable for a longer, relaxing stay.
