Camping Les Joncs du Roch
This campsite offers a mixed experience that has evolved significantly over the years. Initially, in 2022, it fell short of basic expectations with a poorly designed layout, forcing guests to walk through other pitches to reach their own. With only five showers and six sinks for over 150 pitches, long queues were common. Cleanliness across the facilities was disappointing, and the site lacked any activities, shop, bar, or snack options. Even during a busy four-day weekend, the pool was out of service, and management provided only a few board games for entertainment. By 2023, the campsite transformed into a compact and intimate haven, thanks to an exceptionally helpful and friendly team that created a welcoming atmosphere. Guests felt very comfortable and at home, with the small scale ensuring a cozy and personal ambiance. In 2024, the site offers an easy-to-access location with a pleasant family atmosphere. The staff remains friendly, and the pitches are quite spacious, though not entirely level. The sanitary facilities are generally clean but have had issues with blocked drains and shortages of toilet paper and soap. The pool has been poorly maintained, appearing dirty and filled with insects. On the brighter side, a fast food restaurant sits conveniently opposite the entrance, and a lovely beach is just 500 meters away, perfect for seaside strolls. The area boasts varied walking routes, making it excellent for visitors with dogs. Despite some drawbacks, guests have been delighted enough to plan a return visit for a full month. Overall, the campsite's standout features are its friendly staff and peaceful location, but it struggles with consistent maintenance and amenities.
