This campsite is set in a natural, forested environment right along the Cèze River, offering a heated swimming pool and direct river access for swimming. The pitches are spacious and allow guests to choose their own spot, with a mix of sun and shade. Sanitary facilities include a beautiful new building that is very clean, while the older block remains adequate except during heavy rain. The campsite offers a laundry room with washing machines and dryers, as well as a small library. The on-site restaurant serves tasty meals and drinks in a simple setting. The surroundings are beautiful, with vineyards, a crocodile farm, a lavender museum, and a weekly market in nearby Bagnols. The Dutch owner is exceptionally friendly and helpful, often treating returning guests like family. The campsite provides a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere with plenty of activities for all ages. It is especially welcoming for dogs, who can enjoy swimming and play opportunities in the river. The sanitary buildings are cleaned thoroughly twice daily, with spacious, individually adjustable showers and a children's bathroom. A heated pool is available for guests, and an electric vehicle charging point is on-site. The restaurant receives praise for its quality, service, and menu variety. Guests appreciate the spacious pitches, though some note that boundaries between spaces are not clearly marked. One minor issue reported is occasional loud music from the manager's husband in the evenings, but problems are resolved after being made aware. The campsite attracts many Dutch visitors, which some find too many, while others appreciate the friendly atmosphere. The Wi-Fi signal can be unstable, particularly on the second field, and mobile data reception may be challenging. Access to the river could be improved for older guests, as the current path is steep. The swimming pool is older but still offers a refreshing respite from the heat. The campsite maintains a peaceful atmosphere and attracts many returning visitors. It is considered excellent for stays in May, June, and September.
