Les Castors, formerly Internationaal, offers a mixed experience that has evolved significantly over the years. In 2022, the site lacked defined pitches, allowing campers to choose their own spots, which led to a messy layout even in the quieter month of June. Confusion arose from two reception areas, one closed. The shop was very limited, with scarce fresh bread, and the restaurant advertised dishes that were unavailable. The highlight was the beautiful swimming pool. By 2023, the campsite transformed with a calm atmosphere and excellent location near town and beach. Staff became consistently friendly and welcoming. Sanitary facilities were very clean, and the small swimming pool sufficed for children. The nearby sandy beach was beautiful and easily accessible, and a shopping center added convenience. While the pool rating dropped slightly, overall satisfaction increased, with many guests recommending a return. The campsite now enjoys high ratings for quietness, cleanliness, staff, kid-friendliness, shop, and beach access, making it a family-friendly destination.
