Camping Le Varlen is situated in the coastal village of Plougrescant, in the Côtes-d'Armor region of Brittany, just steps from the sea. The campsite is close to a fine sandy beach, making it ideal for seaside getaways. It offers touring pitches that vary in size from 80 to 200 square meters, with some providing partial shade and others fully exposed to the sun. All pitches are clearly marked, ensuring guests have designated and organized spaces. In addition to tent and caravan spots, the campsite provides rental accommodation options including mobile homes, hikers' cabins, and apartments. Families with children will appreciate the dedicated playground, which adds to the site's family-friendly atmosphere. The campsite welcomes guests with disabilities, reflecting its commitment to inclusive travel. It operates from late March to mid-November, covering the prime spring, summer, and early autumn seasons. The entire property spans one hectare, with a modest elevation of 30 meters above sea level. There are 28 touring pitches available, supplemented by 12 permanent annual pitches and 26 rental units. Pricing for a standard pitch starts at €29.82, with a higher guide price of €39.82 for upgraded options. Each year, an ACSI inspector assesses the campsite across more than 200 criteria, ensuring consistent quality and safety for visitors. The inspector, Mr. D. Buysse, performs these thorough evaluations annually, and his findings help maintain high standards. The campsite is not designated as a naturist facility, so it follows a more conventional camping environment. Its location near the coast offers guests easy access to marine activities and scenic coastal walks. The surrounding area of Plougrescant is known for its rugged coastline and charming Breton culture. Overall, Camping Le Varlen combines seaside proximity with diverse accommodation choices and reliable service oversight.
