This campsite offers a peaceful, rural setting with large, level pitches and lovely views over the Paimpont Forest. The area is quiet and perfect for walking, cycling, and exploring the surrounding region. Guests appreciate the clean sanitary facilities, including hot showers, though some note that showers are push-button and can be brief. The site is eco-friendly, and the owners are generally described as friendly and helpful, providing maps and suggesting walks, though a few visitors experienced a less welcoming arrival. A different food truck arrives most evenings, offering pizzas and other options, which adds convenience. The village has a small shop, but inventory can be limited outside peak season. A highlight is the short stroll to a nearby lake perfect for dogs. Off-season, some advertised amenities may be closed, including forest access and local bakeries. Pitches currently have little shade or privacy as planted trees are still young. WiFi is only available near the office. The site is not particularly convenient for exploring the coast, but destinations like Josselin and Lac de Tremelin are under 30 minutes by car. There is a small playground for children. Some guests reported muddy ground and unlevel pitches after rain. Guests may need to bring their own toilet paper and handwash. One guest was told not to fill their van at an on-site tap, but this appears to be an isolated incident. Overall, the campsite is valued for its tranquility and value for money.
